MICHELLE LANE: a biography

Michelle returns back home to Los Angeles from living in New York City.  She made her Broadway debut closing AVENUE Q last September.  Michelle's passion has always been for acting and singing, but becoming a puppeteer was not only something she didn't expect, but something she found great joy doing. She was cast in the original company of Avenue Q in Las Vegas. Immediately after Q, she found herself following Bobby Lopez to his new venture in Orlando recreating Dory for the stage in Finding Nemo the Musical. Michelle is an Ovation Award Winner for her performance in the West Coast Premiere of Swing! at Musical Theatre West. NY credits: A Christmas Carol (Madison Square Garden), SIDD Workshop Production (Mala), Chess (Florence), La Gioconda original cast staged concert (Isabella D’este), and many other workshops and readings. Regional credits include: Side Show (Violet), She Loves Me (Amalia), Measure for Measure (Isabella), Ragtime (Evelyn Nesbit), The Tempest (Miranda), Cabaret (Frau. Kost & Rosie), It Ain’t Nothin’ But the Blues (Carter), and 42nd Street (Lorraine) to name a few. TV: “The Truth About Jane” with Stockard Channing and Ru Paul. BFA, University of AZ.  Michelle is a proud new mama to her little Noah (her best role to date) and loves her Tim.
